Quality Intelligence Services (QIS) is a sister company of Quality Control Services (QCS).

QCS is owned and managed by Mr. David Levy , a Canadian citizen who has been involved in a number of successful business ventures in Asia for the past 15 years.

In 1990, Mr. Levy established Quality Control Services Ltd; a Hong Kong based company that specializes in manufacturing facility audits for a wide range of clients involved in multi-national retail operations. A number of QCS clients are well placed in the Fortune 500 list of global enterprises.

QCS currently audits no less than 1,000 production facilities throughout South West and South East Asia with a significant presence in Mainland China . The company currently employs over 300 field inspection and audit personnel based in offices in numerous major Asian cities.

A significant influence upon the QCS business has been the heightened global awareness of the threat of terrorism and international organized crime. As such QCS clients are increasingly requiring the company to strengthen the security aspects of the audit and factory inspection process. As a result Quality Intelligence Services (QIS) was established in early 2004 to service this ever-increasing specialized need

Since establishment QIS has embarked upon an aggressive recruitment campaign to identify individuals with extensive law enforcement and security industry backgrounds to manage the QIS business. This recruitment drive has now resulted in the establishment of the core QIS management team, each one of whom has a wealth of experience operating in Asia and possession of industry related qualifications, including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), amongst others.

Although QIS is a relatively new security service company, its people are not new to the security industry.
